Visit Sandy Springs (Sandy Springs Hospitality & Tourism, inc.), the destination marketing organization (DMO) for the city of Sandy Springs, Georgia is dedicated to promoting our city as a premier destination for visitors. As we continue to grow our organization’s presence in the travel and tourism space, we are looking for an individual with experience in CRM (customer relationship management) systems, search engine optimization (SEO), data management and analysis, and content management systems (CMS). The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with a variety of marketing and data tools to help support the organizational goals.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This role will work closely with the marketing team to help support overall organizational initiatives by carrying out the following responsibilities:

  • CRM Software Management and Maintenance: Oversee and manage the Visit Sandy Springs CRM system to improve the current effectiveness and increase the amount of usable and actionable data for the organization.
  • Website Content Updates: Assist with auditing, updating and refreshing website content, ensuring it is accurate, engaging, and aligned with marketing initiatives and SEO insights.
  • SEO Management: Conduct keyword research, optimize website content, and implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
  • Data Management & Analysis: Monitor website traffic, analyze data, and generate reports to track the effectiveness of marketing efforts. Use data-driven insights to make recommendations for improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with outside agencies, designers, and the broader marketing team to develop and execute campaigns that align with the organization’s objectives.
  • Attention to Detail: Assist with implementation of, and ensure, all marketing tools (current and future), including asset management systems, website updates, and other organizational databases are organized, accurate, and consistent.
  • Performs Other Duties as Assigned
  • Campaign Monitoring: Track and report on the success of digital marketing campaigns, using data to refine and optimize future efforts.
  • Marketing Automation: Assist with the setup and execution of automated email marketing workflows, leveraging CRM and other platforms to nurture leads and drive engagement.

 Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in hospitality, marketing or related field
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability and willingness to drive and/or travel locally and nationally to events and trade shows, as well as work occasional nights and weekends.

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software 
  • Strong proficiency in marketing analytics and SEO tools
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS)
  • Strong data analysis and management skills
  • Experience identifying, implementing, and managing marketing technologies
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

The employee will perform most duties in a typical office environment with public contact and interruptions.   The employee may experience prolonged sitting, occasional stooping and may be required to bend, kneel, crouch, reach and twist.  The employee will operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordinating including use of a computer keyboard.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Job requires approximately 5% travel.
