Analytics Coordinator Role Summary

As an Analytics Coordinator at Future Partners, you are a foundational part of our Analytics department. Your position is responsible for supporting the Analytics department in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data collected and our data analysis systems for the research projects led on behalf of our clients and the travel industry--ultimately helping to fulfill our Company’s overall vision and mission to be the go-to resource for traveling consumer insights.

 

Responsibilities & Required Services

  • Program and test surveys online using platforms such as Forsta/Decipher and Informizely
  • Field surveys with the Company’s panels and external panel providers
  • Clean, review, and weight data, and develop cross-tabulations using software such as Q
  • Clean, review, and input large datasets for dashboards and visualizations in platforms such as Displayr and other data visualization tools such as Microsoft PowerBI
  • Ensure high integrity in the data collected and data analysis systems
  • Ensure data is stored in compliance with current privacy laws as applicable
  • Complete assigned tasks by their designated internal and external deadlines
  • Manage internal communication about project-related tasks to ensure that projects move forward on timeline
  • Manage external communication with panel providers and vendors
  • Develop a knowledge base through professional education and training on tools that the Company uses or will be of benefit to the Company
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in market research
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Subject to interest and experience, training and support will be provided in tasks required for progression to Analytics Manager, including developing models of visitor visitation and visitor economic impact, and calculating direct and indirect impacts using IMPLAN.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • College graduate (or equivalent experience)
  • Knowledge of market research concepts 
  • Comfortable with mathematical and logical concepts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Skills and Attributes that We Consider a Plus

  • Experience with custom research based on client objectives
  • Experience programming surveys and managing data collection
  • Experience using data cleaning and analysis software
  • Experience and comfort with large data sets and using online visualization tools such as Displayr and PowerBI
  • Experience coding in R, Python, or DAXExperience with location data and analytics (such as GA4)
  • Entrepreneurial spirit

 

Location

  • For local candidates, this role is hybrid 3 days per week onsite in San Francisco, California. We are open to remote, out-of-area candidates.
  • Must be available to work 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time.
