As our Senior Research Analyst, you'll work with our consultants in the development and execution of client research and the development of strategy, operational improvements, and organizational assessments. You'll conduct client project related work, such as interviewing, survey development, survey deployment and analysis, modeling, data visualization, integration of third party research, and summary report development. You'll follow industry trends and be fluent in the latest industry developments in our core industries: Travel and Tourism, Economic and Workforce Development, and Higher Education. You'll provide analytical support to project teams that identify, evaluate and analyze critical strategic priorities and/or strategic problems, and catalyze action against these priorities. You'll perform analysis, synthesize data into key takeaways, and apply new conceptual frameworks and analytical approaches. You'll be an active participant in our team that brings unique business and industry background to every client matter.

 

Things you will own:

Research - Primary and secondary industry, market, organizational and disciplinary (change management, strategy, leadership, etc.) research will help support the consultants in their work with clients.

Analytics - Survey, organizational and financial analysis will help support consultants in their recommendations to clients. A full range of techniques will be utilized, including survey design and distribution and statistical analysis. You will be expected to provide insight related to analysis as part of report generation and be able to clearly express these insights both verbally and in writing.

Project Management - Support consultants with project management by coordinating and managing the research team to deliver on project plans and communications. This requires strong organizational and time management skills as well as knowledge of formal project management processes and methodologies.

Business Development - Support consultants by identifying new business development opportunities.

Stakeholder & Community Engagement - Partner with consultants to conduct qualitative research (including interviews and focus groups, both virtual and in person) with clients and members of their communities.

Research Report Development - Partner with consultants to draft and refine PowerPoint presentations and other written deliverables, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative research into cogent sets of key findings and recommendations.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Data or Research Analysis
    Experience with research tools such as Survey Monkey, Momentive, or similar
    Experience with Data Visualization tools such as Display R or similar
    Consulting and/or Agency experience preferred

Location: We are open to a remote candidate located anywhere in the US.

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 DOE

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel required, up to 2-10 days/month
